Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply when you use the Futuwwa app, website, and related services. Futuwwa is operated by Greensville Trust, Felicity House, Northdale Road, Liverpool, England, L15 4HT.

By using Futuwwa, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the service.

Contact

If you need help, contact support@futuwwasports.org. For session, payment, refund, or cancellation questions, include the relevant session details so we can review the request and respond as soon as reasonably possible.

Who can use the service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Futuwwa. You must provide accurate information during onboarding and keep your details up to date, including your contact details, emergency contact, and primary gym.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your Apple or Google sign-in account and device secure. Do not share access to your account or let another person check in, complete a waiver, or make payments using your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission.

Gym participation and safety

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and related training involve physical contact and risk of injury. You are responsible for deciding whether you are fit to train, following coach instructions, respecting other participants, and stopping if it is unsafe for you to continue.

You must complete the required waiver before self check-in. The waiver forms part of the safety and participation requirements for using Futuwwa.

Sessions and check-in

Sessions are scheduled by Futuwwa administrators. Session times, locations, prices, eligibility, and availability may change. Check-in confirms your attendance for a session and may create a payment due for that session.

You must not attempt to bypass check-in, check in for someone else, or interfere with NFC tags, session records, payment records, or administrator tools.

Payments

Session payments are handled through Zeffy. Futuwwa does not store your card details. If a payment fails, is cancelled, or cannot be matched to your attendance, the session may remain marked as unpaid until it is resolved. Zeffy may provide payment confirmation or receipt information, and Futuwwa may keep related records where available.

If you have a payment, refund, or cancellation question, contact support@futuwwasports.org with the session details. We will review the request and respond as soon as reasonably possible.

Operational messages

We may send operational messages about your use of the service, including session cancellations, payment reminders, support replies, and important account or service updates. We do not use the app for marketing messages.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use the service unlawfully or dishonestly.
• Provide false account, waiver, attendance, or payment information.
• Access, change, or misuse another person's account or data.
• Interfere with the app, website, NFC check-in, payment flow, or administrator tools.
• Copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the service except where the law allows it.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or fully up to date. We may update, suspend, or withdraw parts of the service when needed for operational, security, legal, or product reasons.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, Futuwwa is not responsible for losses that are not reasonably foreseeable, business losses, or losses caused by your failure to follow these Terms, coach instructions, or reasonable safety guidance.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information.

Ending access

We may suspend or end access to the service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these Terms, misuse the service, create safety or security risks, or where we are required to do so by law.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere in the United Kingdom.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the service, law, or our operations change. The latest version will be available through the app and website.
